Sunday Summary #35

Working Toward Our Dream

Hello ,

Welcome to Scho & Jo’s 35th Sunday Summary. This edition of the Sunday Summary is coming to you on a Monday and was written from Jen's parents home in Green Cove Springs, Florida, USA.

    Last Week.

For the past two weeks we have been non-stop working on growing our little business!

We've been busy editing videos, working on our website, brainstorming for some exciting future projects, and tackling our post-it wall of tasks! We've been reading books, watching videos, and attending online courses to learn new editing skills, techniques for growing a YouTube channel, and strategies for growing a business. Learning how to be an entrepreneur is harder than we expected, but we're excited by the challenge!

We've also taken two trips up to Atlanta to visit family and take care of a few personal items. It was completely bitter sweet visiting Atlanta as it was our first home together and the place where we met so many great friends, adopted our dog Ollie, and started to build our professional careers. It remains an integral place to our story and in our hearts. Since we've spent several hours in the car driving, we've been able to fill our time with audiobooks! We just finished "The 4 Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss. It boosted our inspiration to continue working hard and keep focus on our dream to continue traveling, experiencing new things, and visiting new places.

“For all of the most important things, the timing always sucks. Waiting for a good time to quit your job? The stars will never align and the traffic lights of life will never all be green at the same time. The universe doesn't conspire against you, but it doesn't go out of its way to line up the pins either. Conditions are never perfect. "Someday" is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you. Pro and con lists are just as bad. If it's important to you and you want to do it "eventually," just do it and correct course along the way.”

    ―Timothy Ferriss, The 4-Hour Workweek

    This Week.

It's here! Tomorrow Elliot gets the long awaited removal of the pins currently in his wrist. We are very excited for this doctor's appointment tomorrow and look forward to the next state of recovery. We'll be continuing to work hard this week, learn new skills, and heal from the surgery.

Next week, we'll share with you our new travel plans going forward. Hint: it includes another PIVOT. Don't worry, we're not selling our boat!

    Videos.

Incase you missed it, here are all the vlogs we’ve released since our last Sunday Summary:

     Gratitudes.

After our time in Atlanta, we were reminded of all of the great things Atlanta taught us and how the city, people, and our time there helped us grow into the people we are today. We're grateful for the experiences we had and the incredible group of friends we made there!

    Peace and love,Jenn + Elliot
