Sunday Summary #33

A Wild Ride

Hello ,

Welcome to Scho & Jo’s 33rd Sunday Summary. This edition of the Sunday Summary was written from Jen's parents home in Green Cove Springs, Florida, USA.

    Last Week.

The past two weeks have been a wild ride to say the least. One week after Elliot's wrist break, he attended a follow up appointment where the doctor recommended surgery as the best course of action. We were scheduled for surgery the following day. As we walked to the hospital for the surgery the following day, Elliot received a call that our insurance wouldn't cover the surgery in Maryland. After two days of phone calls between our insurance company and multiple doctor's offices, we made the decision to rent a car (hard to come by during Covid) so we could come down to Florida and Elliot could get the surgery. We packed up Pivot, did our best to tie her lines well, and Jen drove 13 hours from Maryland to Florida. It was a long day to say the least, but thanks to coffee and audiobooks, we made it safely to Florida. Now we await the surgery, which happens tomorrow! If you would please keep us in your thoughts and prayers, we would greatly appreciate it.

    This Week.

Elliot gets his surgery tomorrow! This week will be all about rest and recovery before taking advantage of our close proximity to family here in Florida. We'll be visiting Elliot's grandparents for his grandmother's 80th birthday (Woohoo Grandma Rose!). Our plan is to continue working on editing videos, updating our website, and getting a bunch of other work done - optimizing our time at Jen's parent's house and strong wifi, which are more challenging to do aboard Pivot.

    Videos.

Incase you missed it, here are all the vlogs we’ve released since our last Sunday Summary:

If you haven’t already, we would love for you to

or share our videos with your friends and family to spread the love. It's a FREE way to show us support that goes a very long way. We just crossed 2K subscribers on YouTube and it feels so surreal. It feels so incredible to watch our hard work pay off and see our dream becoming a reality. We just want to say thank YOU for following along our little journey and for helping us grow!

    Graditudes.

The time we've had to sit back at Jen's parent's house and get work done has been so rejuvenating to our souls. We are so grateful to get to eat breakfast and dinner with them and get a lot of work done in the middle. It's been great to enjoy watching movies as a family (Captain Ron and The Terminal) and going for walks. We've been appreciating the time we have instead of dwelling on our previous plans and embracing the PIVOT.

    Peace and love,Jenn + Elliot
