Welcome to An Urban Journey’s sixteenth Sunday Summary. This edition of the Sunday Summary was written in our hotel in Vrindavan, India.

Last Week.

Last week transitioned us into the next phase of our journey, India! Our travel days went pretty much as planned, and we were joyed to see the COVIND-19 precautions at the Delhi airport. India has been a real eye-opener and we feel like it will be a little while until we truly settle in. Here are a few highlights from our time last week:

• Traveling to Asia for the first time in our lives. 

• We stayed in a capsule hotel in the Bangkok Airport on our way to Delhi. 

• Riding in our first Tuk-Tuks. 

• Catching our first Indian Train.

This Week.

This week we are going to celebrate the Indian festival of Holi with the locals here in Vrindivan as well as see one of the new seven wonders of the world! Here are some of the fun things we’re looking forward to:

• Getting splashed with color while having fun at Holi

• Seeing the splendor of the great Taj Mahal

• Visiting the “Pink City” of Rajasthan, India, called Jaipur.
